Keaton Gillogly is in his sixth year behind the mic for the Seattle Mariners' A-Advanced affiliate, the Modesto Nuts, and his tenth season overall in Minor League Baseball. In the fall of 2019, Keaton will begin his eighth season as the radio voice of the Michigan State women's basketball program. It is his ninth year covering division one basketball since completing his college degree. In January of 2018, Keaton began doing television play-by-play for the Big Ten Network.
After graduation from Valparaiso University in Northwest Indiana, he served as the Executive Producer of the Valparaiso Sports Radio Network and the studio host for Crusaders football and men’s basketball while also filling in as the play-by-play broadcaster.
Prior to his post in Modesto, he spent his time calling baseball for the Kane County Cougars (Midwest League), Lansing Lugnuts (Midwest League), the Gary SouthShore RailCats (American Association) and Green Bay Bullfrogs (Northwoods League). Additional television credits include men's basketball and baseball for Big Ten Network Student U and Horizon League conference championships in baseball and softball for the Horizon League Network.
A native of Chicago, Keaton earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Media from Valparaiso University. As a student, Keaton broadcast Valparaiso men’s and women’s basketball, football, volleyball, baseball, softball and soccer while serving as Sports Director at WVUR-FM, working as a beat writer for the weekly newspaper The Torch, and co-founding VUTV, the student-run campus television station.
